Dr. Rasmussen joins Ahwatukee Skin & Laser from Salt Lake City, UT where he currently practices full time general and surgical Dermatology at Intermountain Health Center, an interdisciplinary clinic. He returns to the valley to enjoy some golf, sporting events, and a change of pace. He will be practicing at Ahwatukee Skin & Laser focusing on skin cancer surveillance, education, and surgical intervention. Dr. Rasmussen is a Board Certified Dermatologist and has been a practicing Dermatologist for the past 15 years. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). He graduated from George Washington University and completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Rasmussen enjoys spending his free time with his 3 children and enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. Whitaker is a Board Certified Dermatologist with over 30 years of experience as a skilled surgeon and dermatologist. He completed his residency at the University of Iowa and has trained nearly 150 resident physicians in Mohs technique and in the precise treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Whitaker is past president of the National Mohs College, and the past president of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery as well as the Association of Academic Dermatologic Surgeons. Dr. Whitaker is considered one of the nation’s leading Mohs surgeons, and he strives to provide patients with excellent surgical care while maintaining a personalized approach.

Eugene T. Conte is a physician at Sun City Dermatology in Arizona. He is Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Michigan State University and Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Conte received his Osteopathic Medical Degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1978.

He completed his rotating Internship and Dermatology Residency at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in association with M.S.U.C.O.M…

Dr. Conte is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He more than 40 years of experience.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.

 

Sarah Neumann, MMS-PA-C, Physician Assistant

Sarah has been a practicing dermatology PA since 2000. She grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and learned early on the importance of hard work and determination to achieve success. After completing her undergraduate degree in Community and Medical Dietetics and Psychology and receiving her Registered Dietitians (RD) license, she traveled and found her true passion for medicine. While completing a medical mission in Belize, Central America, where she worked at the local hospital, she found herself needing and wanting more advanced training in medicine to better serve the people. Sarah wanted to treat the entire person. After returning to the United States and moving to Arizona, Sarah received her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University.

Sarah’s passion for skin started as a teenage girl who battled severe acne for many years and it shaped how she felt about herself. Her practice style is one of compassion, understanding and commitment to quality care. Sarah takes pride in developing meaningful relationships with her clients and strives to create a positive welcoming environment in her office and practice style.

Bethany Cheatham, MSN, FNP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner

Bethany is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Originally from a small town in Iowa, Bethany grew up in Chandler, AZ. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University in 2007. While working as a labor and delivery nurse, she returned to school at University of Phoenix to become a Family Nurse Practitioner to pursue her long-term goal of working in dermatology. With a family history of severe acne and psoriasis, her interest in the skin began in high school and grew. Bethany loves that in treating the health of the skin, the self image of the patient may be improved, as well. She provides care focused on compassion and respect for the individual needs of the patient. Bethany could not be more excited to be a part of the exceptional team at Ahwatukee Skin and Laser.

Brittany is a board certified Physician Assistant. Born and raised in Arizona, she attended Arizona State University where she received a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics. She initially started her medical career here at Ahwatukee Skin and Laser as a CNA, only to later attend Norther Arizona University where she completed her masters in Physician Assistant Studies.

Brittany then went on to complete a fellowship in Emergency Medicine in Sun City West, where she grew to love the community and reconnect with her passion for dermatology. In her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, reading, and spending time with her dog Ollie.

Kelly has been in the Medical Aesthetic industry for 15 years. She started her career and training under world renowned Dr. Stephen W. Perkins, MD (past president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery). Throughout her career, she has worked with multiple respected Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, and top laser companies providing, high end medical aesthetic services and clinical education. As a Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) and a Licensed Aesthetician (LE) she focuses on anti-aging procedures and a variety of cutting edge laser treatments. The treatments Kelly offers include Ultherapy, Cosmetic injections, Micro Needling , IPL, miraDry, Chemical peels, and a variety of laser treatments. Kelly currently is a West Coast Clinical Educator for Ulthera, Inc. (Ultherapy) and Alma Lasers. This allows her to be a part of the most current technology. Her focus is to keep you feeling youthful and enjoying every step of the way!

Cory Worischeck, J.D.

Cory joined ASL in early 2019 with a diverse skillset and passion for patient care.  He is a lifelong Arizonan with a finance degree from the University of Arizona and law degree from Arizona State University.  After stops in the finance and legal worlds, Cory found his home in healthcare. His main goal is to continue the outstanding reputation for patient service that the entire ASL Family has worked so diligently to cultivate.

On the off chance you don’t find Cory at ASL, you can be sure that he is enjoying Arizona’s high country.  He is an avid hiker, gardener, and outdoorsman who spends his free time enjoying all that Arizona has to offer.

Linda is an Arizona native having lived in Phoenix, Tempe, Flagstaff, Williams and Chandler. She began her “people focused” path early on in life as a volunteer at Desert Samaritan Hospital while in high school. Throughout her school life she was active in all sports related activities, and today she still enjoys tennis and golf.

After attending NAU, in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, she spent several years in an interesting variety of positions. She was a fine dining manager for the Ritz Carlton Mauna Lani and Four Seasons hotels in Hawaii, California and Las Vegas. Working for five star resorts for over 10 years has given Linda the gift of not only meeting, but exceeding guest expectations. Following the resort business, Linda started her almost 10 year commitment in Sports and Entertainment as General Manager of Suites and Premium Services for US Airways Center and Chase Field, home of the Phoenix Suns and Diamondbacks. While working for Chase Field she also headed up the food services program for athletes in Salt Lake City during the Winter Olympics in 2001.

Linda spends a lot of her free time being the “perfect aunt” to her two favorite people, her niece and nephew. She has never met a stranger, only a new friend.

My name is Jamie, I am a native to Arizona where I love to call home. I have always loved helping others while working in the medical field. My experience includes being a former in-home caregiver as well as a medical office manager for a diabetic wellness studio. I love the dermatology filed because I believe everyone wants to have self confidence in their life and seeing people happy about themselves is very rewarding. I am a mom to 5 beautiful children and in my spare time I love being a soccer mom to my youngest. We welcome you with open arms to our office and can’t wait to meet you.

Tiffany is a licensed Aesthetician, Certified Laser Technician, and Laser Safety Officer.

She completed her aesthetics training and clinical hours at Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics in Tempe AZ and laser certification from The Clear Skin Institute in Phoenix Az.  Tiffany’s training as a natural skin practitioner and as a medical aesthetician, brings the best of both worlds to ASL.  Experience the relaxation of a day spa with the results of a med spa.  Outside of the treatment room, Tiffany enjoys training other aestheticians in advanced treatments and various aesthetic equipment.

Her favorite treatments are micro-needling and chemical peels.
